Apparently Peter Dinklage has a part in Avengers: Infinity War. I guess you can see his name on the bottom of the poster credits. Naturally fans have been speculating who he will be playing in the movie. I think it is fairly obvious: Bolivar Trask. Yep, the character he played in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Here is what will happen…
Thanos is kicking the crap out of all the Avengers, just about to kill Captain America, when a portal opens. Trask steps out with Professor X and Magneto (James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender). He says to the mutants “this is an Earth with special people like you, I can send all of the mutants here and they will all be accepted.”
Magneto points to Thanos and says “who is this guy?”
Trask: Oh, he is some interstellar despot hellbent on destroying the universe. You will probably have to deal with him.
Thanos: YOU WILL BEND TO MY WILL!
Xavier: Silence you, allow the adults to talk this over. (Thanos and everyone else goes silent and still)
Magneto: So this is a world full of mutants?
Trask: Not exactly mutants, but they have special powers here.
Xavier: It does sound pretty nice.
Magneto: As long as we stop this giant guy.
Trask: Well I never said it would be easy.
Magneto: Fine. Xavier, release them.
Thanos: Kneel before me!
Magneto: Give me that (the Infinity Gauntlet floats over to Magneto).
Magneto then uses his powers to crush Thanos’ helmet and skull. End of movie. The next movie will be Avengers vs. X-Men.
And that is how Infinity War ends and the X-Men come to the MCU. Oh, and then Silver Surfer shows up in the post-credit scene and says “Umm, guys, Galactus is coming.” And everyone laughs and says “why do you have a surfboard?”
