Avengers: Infinity War Final Trailer

Damn…this looks soooo good. Anyone want to make predictions on who dies? Here are my top three:

  1. Captain America–c’mon, it is setup so nicely for Steve to make the ultimate sacrifice and be replaced by Bucky as the new Captain America.
  2. Thor–I could see him dying, but then being resurrected in the second Infinity War (right, this is still two parts?).
  3. Drax–My guess is one of the Guardians will die, my money is on him after he goes up against Thanos on his own.

I think any deaths will be hard to swallow. I do not think Iron Man dies (or at least not in this movie). If he does die, then Captain America does not in this movie (again, maybe by the end of this one and the next one, they are both dead). I could see Tony Stark being done as Iron Man after this movie though, maybe helping out in a more advisory role. Allowing Peter and his fancy Iron Spider suit to fill the role that he once had.

  1. Even though Cap is my favorite MCU character, I think there’s a good chance he dies. But if they kill off Drax, I will be so sad. He’s my favorite guardian. Who’d have ever thought Dave Bautista would be as good an actor as he is? I was surprised to see him in the new Blade Runner. And Infinity War isn’t two parts any more – they announced that the upcoming unnamed Avengers movie will be someting different. That’s why you’re no longer hearing this one called Infinity War Part 1. So what’s the second one?

    Maybe we’ll see Silver Surfer show up in the post-credits scene here. Then they could bring in the Fantastic Four and Captain Marvel to help fight Galactus.

      I also thought that the untitled avengers movie,while not named infinity war pt.2, was still a direct sequel. Can they wrap up thanos in one movie?

      What if his plan is to wipe out half the universe in order to summon Galactus? That would set up your Silver Surfer idea nicely

  2. I certainly hope they wrap Thanos in a single movie. I’m so tired of “Part 1” / “Part 2” movies like The Hobbit and the Harry Potter Finale. They’re generally much better as a single film, even if it’s a 3-hour film. If you want to tell a story that’s any longer, make it a TV series like Game of Thrones.
