The teaser was finally released for Spider-Man: No Way Home and it is definitely worth the wait. Some initial thoughts…
-Alfred Molina is back as Doctor Octopus! I know it is hip to mock the Raimi Spider-Man films now, but Spider-Man 2 was damn near perfect and Molina was a big reason why.
-There have been rumors that Charlie Cox could be in this film as Daredevil (and the internet has quickly pointed out that the guy who slams the files in front of Peter has hairy arms, as does Cox). I could see them introducing Matt Murdock as Peter’s attorney, who is trying to get a read on his innocence by rattling him with files.
-I love the joke with Dr.Strange (you don’t have to call me sir…yeah that is weird). I like having him be the linchpin of this phase (the multiverse definitely being in his wheelhouse, it makes sense, but Cumberbatch is such a great actor that it would be a shame to just keep him as the magic dude who show up once in awhile).
-Also, what is with Strange and Wong wearing parkas and the Sanctum being very cold?
-“He pumpkin-bombed the hell out of the place!”–that better be said by someone at some point.
Yeah, I am excited for this movie.
