The Flash

Ugh. There was so much wrong with this movie, and yet it had moments of greatness. It was great having Michael Keaton back. Ezra Miller did a great job as Barry. The story was a bit of a mess though. Maybe I am all multiversed out. I do not know. I suppose there will be spoilers from here on out, but I doubt many people would care if this film were spoiled.

-The opening scene was good. I loved seeing BatFLECK in a blue Batman costume. Ever since the first Batman movie, the comics and movies have constantly tried to get away from the blue costume that was the norm for like a million years.

-But in that opening scene? One of the worst CGI battles. I hate how they make the Flash running look. I get the speed skating motion. But at times it just looks weird. I swear the CW show did a better job of bringing that speed to life with a budget about 1000x less than this movie.

-Saving the babies looked utterly ridiculous. It would have helped if we knew that touching a person while in running at those speeds can have terrible effects. Maybe a voice over of Barry giving Flash Facts (I used to love in the comics when Wally would remember these facts that Barry taught him).

-The ending was pretty stupid. George Clooney showing up as Bruce Wayne. Meh. They should have just showed him during the different Batmen/Supermen/Flash scene. Now it seems that Barry is in a different universe again. Also, the end-credit scene was pointless. Ugh.

-I loved the rescue scene in Russia. When Barry finds Kara, and then carries her out, and the sun starts to heal her…yeah, that was a great scene. I would totally watch a Supergirl movie from this universe.
