History Fact: In 1885, this small community was greatly affected by the North-West Rebellion. After the Battle of Fish Creek & the Battle of Batoche, wounded soldiers spent time in the area recovering. 
Weather Fact: The lowest temperature recorded was −58 °F in 1893. 
Economic Fact: This world’s largest potash producer has their headquarters in this city. The city has nearly 67% of the world’s potash reserves. I do not think they mean Dan Potash.
Sports Fact: In 1982, Bill Hunter tried to buy the St.Louis Blues and move them here. The NHL blocked the deal.
Famous Citizen: Colby Armstrong, former Penguins player who was traded for Pascal Dupuis and Marian Hossa.
