Decades Project: 2000s Music–Gorillaz

Gorillaz released two albums during the 2000s, their debut in 2001, then they followed that up with Demon Days in 2005. Two incredible albums. I remember first hearing about the idea of this band in Rolling Stone. There was a story about Blur’s frontman forming a virtual band. The news also jumped into Wizard Magazine, since the musician teamed with Jamie Hewlett, who created the comic book, Tank Girl. 

I apologize to the folks that used to work with me around 2005, I would play Demon Days like every day, over and over again while I was cooking. It was such a solid album for getting through a shift. Thanks Gorillaz!
