Curse of The Aristocrats

When I heard that Gilbert Gottfried passed away, my immediate thought was “damn, Bob Saget & Gilbert in the same year. Two of the funniest guys from The Aristocrats.” Do you know that movie? It was a documentary about this famous joke among comedians. The entire movie is comedians talking about the joke and giving their rendition of it. As I started thinking about it, I realized there were a few other comedians from that movie that passed away too. I thought it would be funny to make up a fake curse about the movie. But then I started going through the comedians who performed in the movie…23 out of 87 have passed away! That is 26%. That seems a bit crazy. The movie came out in 2005.

I mean, I do not believe in curses or anything like that. There is a more logical conclusion: many of those performers were old. It is not that shocking that people die in the course of seventeen years.
