2018 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 17 and Fantasy Football Championship

Last week was another rough one for me. Only five picked correctly, ugh. Sean was the big winner with ten.

Underdog Special: Cincinnati Bengals (+16.0)
I was right about the Steelers last week. I would say take the Bengals this week. Look, the Steelers should win, but they have only won two games by 16+ points this season. I realize the Bengals have basically no players right now, but the Steelers are good for playing down to opponents.
Underdog Record: 5-10

Sean is now in the lead, although Mom is tied with him at 117, he just has the tiebreaker. After that we have Gideon, Ryan, Josh, Adam, Jason, Jon, Offord, Lindsey, and Rob.

The playoffs this year have been pretty great. The finals did not disappoint. Adam said a few weeks ago after he beat BatmanJason in a close matchup that he would probably lose to him in the finals. My brother was right. The running backs and Ertz were just too much for my brother.

Jessica absolutely destroyed Gideon for third place, so most of the money went to the same house. That family has a dynasty going in this league. BatmanJason did a very nice thing and gave Ryan his $25 back since he beat Ryan in the first round of the playoffs by .70 points.

Here are the final standings for the season.

We decided this year that the loser of the league had to wear a very nice shirt that shows how awful they were at fantasy football. John was this year’s loser and he wore his prize with honor. Thanks to Scott for procuring the shirt.

  1. Thanks for running the league every year. You provide so much entertainment in our home. It’s much more entertaining to me when I finish higher than Jessica — this might be the first time, actually — and don’t have to hear her brag constantly about how good she is at fantasy football.

    1. Thanks man!

And this is the second time you have finished ahead of her (2014 was the other time)…yes, I keep meticulous records.
