2025 College Football Predictions: Big Ten Conference

I am totally in homer mode here, but I think if Penn State plays to their potential, no one beats them. Everything is aligned perfectly for them to make a run at the national championship. Ohio State will be good, Michigan will be good, Oregon will be good, but they are just not quite as complete as Penn State.
Illinois has a weak schedule, they play Ohio State and Indiana. I think ten wins is quite doable for them. Nebraska will have a great season, their fans will be letting us all know they are back. Indiana will be good, but no one will underestimate them this year. Minnesota and Iowa will do their thing, win some games, lose games.
The most intriguing team in the bottom half is UCLA. They brought in a bunch of transfers, including Nico Iamaleava, the former Tennessee quarterback, who has some drama, but also plenty of talent. I could see them making some noise, maybe upsetting a team or two, but also losing to Northwestern or Michigan State.
Hot Seat: I think the easy answer here is Luke Fickell. The Badgers have not played well since he took over, and if they have another down year, the administration may decide to go in a different direction. Also, if Ohio State loses to Michigan again, fans will be screaming about Ryan Day, even though he just won a national championship.
