A new trailer came out and it seems like Disney made some significant changes. I think the movie was supposed to come out sometime last fall and they pushed it back. This is never a good sign. This trailer makes it seem like Artemis is some kind of superhero, whereas the books (which I have not read, but I was always intrigued by them because of the premise) are clearly about how Fowl is a criminal mastermind.
I still think the movie looks pretty cool, but I am curious about the changes. Maybe it will work (I thought the change worked in the movie Wanted).
