Life Update–2026 Version

I have only written two posts this year so far. I apologize for that, there has been way too much going on in my life. The kids are in everything, so I am generally going to some practice or event most nights. Not complaining, it is fun, but definitely hectic. 

The main reason for the lack in posts though is two major life-changing events, that I cannot talk about at the moment. One of them has been awful, and I will not speak of it. Just know that I am okay-ish, and hopefully things will be fine. Yay for vagueness! The second thing is probably one of the greatest things to happen to me aside from my kids. I am not quite ready to mention what it is yet, but I promise, once I am ready, there will be a post about it. Trust me, it will be cool. 

So yeah, between the stress of these two events, the time and just desire to post has been at an all-time low. This year will probably see the lowest output of posts with everything that is going on, but I will try to keep those family updates coming since I know that is what most you enjoy. 

Also, some sad news recently. You may remember that we got two birds back in 2024. Well, one of them passed away the other day. It was a sad day for the family, and Payton took it extremely hard. Pickles will be missed.
