Well that sucks. I had a rough week. I have to keep telling myself not to panic though. There were a ton of games postponed due to terrible weather. I think a typical week has about 250 ABs. Also, once the weather becomes…well not so shitty, the power numbers should increase for a few of my players. I know, excuses…blah. I need to stay positive though and look at the positives happening on my team, such as some great pitching.
KOW–The Aarons–KOW
Aaron Nola & Aaron Sanchez pitched great games on the same night. They both picked up a win, struck out ten combined, both had a 1.13 ERA, and Nola’s WHIP was 0.75, whereas Sanchez put up a 1.00 WHIP. Great to have those two guys performing at peak performance. Especially since Aaron Sanchez had all of those blister problems last year. And Nola is quickly becoming one of the ace Philadelphia needs.

Best Move of the Week
Offord and I made a big trade this week. I sent Realmuto & Zack Godley to him for Joey Votto. Godley had a bad start this week, but it evens out since Votto was pretty crappy as well. I think this trade will be beneficial to both of us. Votto is going to heat up, he is a career .293 hitter in April, but a .313 total…so he will be just fine. Realmuto should give Offord some nice pop from the catcher position and Godley gives him a very good starter. Not all trades need to be one person screwing the other.
I am now 7-16-1 and in 10th place. Jason now owns the best record (17-5-2). This week I take on Offord, who is in 2nd place. Lindsey (6th) battles Ryan (11th), Gideon (3rd) vs. Matt (8th), Jason/James (4th), Dustin (12th)/Pat (7th), and Sean (5th)/Adam2 (9th).
