Insane to think that Logan is one already. It honestly seems like just yesterday that I was getting that text to come home. On the other hand, it also feels like a billion years ago. Does that make sense? Things have been harder with Logan than they were with Payton. I know I have written about that a few times. Fortunately things are getting easier.
Logan gets into everything, which is completely opposite of Payton. I mean, she had her moments, but it was usually cute and adorable. Logan will just empty everything out of every bin, every cabinet, every drawer he can find. He also just finds the things he should not go near. Outlets? Fascinated by them. Trying to climb up stuff? Oh yeah, loves that, even after something falls on him. Seriously, it is a constant battle with him.
We thought for sure that he would walk earlier than Payton, but nope. He has not taken that first step yet. He will walk around the room while holding onto stuff, but has not let go and walked on his own yet. He has been so close though.
It has been a long, crazy year, but that does not change the fact that we love Logan more than words can describe. I love hearing your laugh, watching you move around, seeing you play with toys, and just doing whatever else you are doing. Except the biting, I am not a fan of that one. It hurts!
I do need to mention that the coronavirus pandemic has meant putting his first birthday party on hold. It was supposed to be this weekend, but we are looking at doing it at a later date.
