Name That City Pt. 25

Population: 220,000
History Fact: When the country declared independence in 1999, there was extreme violence within the city, which ended up becoming the capital of the new country. The violence ended up leaving about 120,000 people displaced within the city mainly due to fires and destroyed buildings. The country itself was finally recognized as an independent nation in 2002, making it the first new sovereign nation of the 21st century.
Language Fact: The primary language in the city is Tetum, but there are also many Portugese, English, and Indonesian speakers.
Random Fact: If you play Globle, then you know this country was the answer the other day. I am becoming an expert in these tiny island nations in Oceania or the islands near Indonesia (it is confusing at times, do they include Indonesia as part of Oceania, because it seems like no).
Athlete Fact: The country has sent two athletes to the Olympics (or more specifically they have had two invited). Aguida Amaral finished 65th out of 66 at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She also ran at the 2000 Olympics, even though her country was not yet officially recognized.
