Payton had her yearly eye appointment, and we decided to schedule Logan with her because he needs an exam for his kindergarten registration. We figured Payton’s eyes were getting a little worse because she was starting to squint with her glasses. Watching her try to see the charts is hilarious. The doctor says to cover one eye, and without squinting, read the lowest line. Payton squints and leans way forward. What a goober.
We honestly did not think Logan needed glasses. We just assumed his eyes were fine. He never squints or gets close to things to see them. None of the signs we saw with Payton. Well…we are awful parents. Logan’s eyes were worse than Payton’s when she first got glasses back in 2022. He was excited about the prospect of wearing glasses. I mean, he looks cool in anything, so why not be excited.
I enjoyed that Logan went bold with some blue frames. Speaking of being bold. He loves to ask for a design in his hair when he gets it cut. This time he asked for Mickey Mouse since we are going to Disney. Lightning bolt, Christmas tree, four-leaf clover, and now the mouse.
