I think some of the reason for my decline in podcasts this year has been the steady uptick in YouTube channels. The time spent folding laundry, washing dishes, or making dinner was usually when I listened to a podcast, but now I find myself catching up on some YouTube videos from Legal Eagle, Doctor Mike, Rick Shiels, or Gutsick Gibbon. My favorite though has been In Deep Geek.
The channel focuses on a bunch of fantasy stuff, but I focused on LOTR & GOT stuff. He has tons of great videos about theories and history, as well as weekly videos breaking down the newest episodes from the TV shows. I swear I watched those immediately after watching the episode to see if I missed anything.
