I just crushed my opponent while enjoying an entire week at Disney. Nice to be back on the winning side. My pitching was excellent, but the hitting was what really propelled me to the win. I will gladly take this kind of performance each week.
Difference Maker
This week the difference maker was Pete Alonso. He hit four HRs, scored eight runs, knocked in seven, batted .429 with a .556 OBP. Without him, I would not have beat Jason. Okay, I would have still won, but it would have been close. Alonso was one of my keepers, and I acquired him in a trade last year with Offord. IT WAS AN EVEN TRADE AT THE TIME!
I am now in 6th place with a 13-10-1 record. This week I face Gideon, who is in second place.
