I almost finished with season two of Jessica Jones and I noticed something interesting. Tincup must have forked out some money to have so many gratuitous shots this season (haha, pun intended). Last season Jessica drank tons of different whiskeys and bourbons (some very cheap ones, some decent).
She definitely drinks a bunch of stuff this season, but Tincup seems to be her drink of choice. And when she does drink it, the bottle and label are always very noticeable. Look, I have no problem with a sponsor or whatever, but try not to be so obvious.
Also, can we talk about that horrible Tincup commercial? You know the one. Some guy is climbing a mountain, while there is a very deep voiced man saying what it means to be a man. The guy finishes the climb to join his buddies. They then show them all drinking Tincup at the top of the mountain. Umm, who decides to do shots on top of a mountain? I could see one celebratory shot, but not four guys polishing off an entire bottle. Can you imagine trying to repel down the mountain buzzed OR the next morning, hungover? Seems like the perfect recipe for an accident.
Do any of my mountain climbing friends drink on top of mountains? Is it safe?
