46th Birthday

Forty‑six. It’s strange seeing that number staring back at me…not because I feel old, but because every year seems to move faster. I am at that age now where I no longer remember how old I am. I have been telling people I am 46 almost all year. So to anyone who asked my age, I apologize if I lied to you. I am 46 now!

If you want a fun read about birthdays, I highly suggest reading my post from last year. I asked CoPilot to make a picture of me celebrating my birthday and to add a Penn State shirt, since they play tonight. CoPilot did not disappoint. I had to have it adjust the hair a bit, since the first version had almost no gray. Come on AI, do better!

So yeah, I am 46 years old. Nate Bargatze had a funny joke at his show (Lindsey and I saw him in Pittsburgh) about being close to 50. He said when you are his age (I believe he is 47), you are the oldest of the young people. But when you turn 50, you are the youngest of the old people. It is a funny joke, but also a nice way of thinking about getting older.
