Come on, if we are kicking off the 1950s, is there a more perfect song than “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around the Clock” by Bill Haley and His Comets. Aside from being one of those early rock ‘n roll songs that was crucial to the success of the genre, it also is the song played at one of the rides at Delgrosso’s (I think the Scrambler, but maybe I am wrong…anyone out there know what I am talking about?).
