Dan Carlin finally wrote a book. The host of the greatest podcast of all time (Hardcore History) released The End is Always Near: Apocalyptic Moments From the Bronze Age Collapse to Nuclear Near Misses and it did not disappoint.
It was pretty much a best of his podcasts, but he ties all of them together by showing how the end has been near before and what would it be like living in that time. Dan Carlin delivers all of this with his usual style and unique way of storytelling.
If you are a fan of his podcast or a fan of history (he always says that he is not a historian, but instead a fan of history), then I highly recommend this book. If you enjoy the sound of his voice (who doesn’t?) then definitely do the audiobook.
