Looks like the world could use some good news today and Disney decided to deliver. I was going to try and go a week without posting about Star Wars, but come on, this is some cool shit.
They announced that there would be a bunch of new Star Wars shows and a new movie.
They announced that Hayden Christensen will return as Darth Vader in the series. Apparently it takes place ten years after Revenge of the Sith. I am guessing we will see Vader as he hunts down more Jedi.
Will this be her quest to find Thrawn, which will hopefully lead her to Ezra? I hope so.
I am guessing this will be the New Republic rangers doing stuff. Probably helping to secure the Outer Rim? Who knows. I wonder if this will end up being a procedural cop show.
I am probably least excited for this show. It follows the adventures of Cassian Andor as he does spy stuff for the Rebel Alliance.
This will follow the adventures of those badass clones from The Clone Wars. This will take place right after the Clone Wars as they try to find their place in the galaxy. Do they go up against the Empire or take missions against Rebels?
There is also a Lando show and a show called Acolytes, which will be set at the end of The High Republic. Also there is a movie called Rogue Squadron, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins (the Wonder Woman movies). If you ever read the old Rogue Squadron books, then you know that they are cool as hell. Wedge and his crew were like the Delta Force of Star Wars. They did all the impossible missions. I am excited.
