It was a pretty blah game. Granted, I was not paying attention since Payton was at level seven hyperactivity tonight. She was running around like a crazy person.
As I said the other day, it was impressive watching the Patriots do their thing. A team that is not known as a defensive juggernaut ends up shutting down the Rams. Remember when the Rams scored like 500 points against the Chiefs? Not such a dynamic offense now.
I thought the halftime show was pretty good. Pretty much what you would expect from Maroon Five. Nothing against them, I like their popular songs. I realize that people think Adam Levine is super hot and it was a show for them.
I missed a ton of the commercials. I caught the Game of Thrones Bud Light commercial online and it was probably the best of the ones I did see. When the music starts to play…it seriously made me want the new season to start right now!
And finally, the Patriots are now even with the Steelers in Super Bowl rings. However, the Patriots have done it during an era of a salary cap and a league that is striving for parity. They have done with one quarterback. I know that people like to shit on Brady & Belichick, but come on, you have to admit what they have done is impressive.
The crazy thing is that Tom Brady plans to play next year. They could win it all again.
