Fall Sports!

I feel like we were constantly busy this fall. Payton has dance two nights per week. She also did cheer again, so she had practice each week, plus games on a bunch of weekends. Logan played basketball, plus he had a weekly baseball clinic out at ERA Sports every Monday. Fortunately, everything is over now (minus dance), and we get to relax…just kidding! Payton has volleyball starting at some point, and Logan wants to try wrestling.

Logan was pretty funny with basketball. He made a few free throws (they each take a free throw at half-time and the points count towards the score), but never had made a shot in a game. I do not think he actually took a shot. I do not think he actually understands what is going on half the time. I keep telling him that he needs to go for the ball, either try to take it on defense, or get open on offense. He just stands there, I mean, he stands precisely where the coaches tell him, but he does not move from that spot. One game, the ball rolled past him, and he just watched it go. Silly kid.

Payton does well at cheerleading, I know nothing about it, but she looks like she is doing the stuff everyone else is doing, so I guess that is good, right? She cracks me up when she does the one cheer. They all lean back, and for some reason Payton loves to try and lean wayyyyy back.

So yeah, fall Sports are over and we now have winter stuff. Logan wants to do another six-week baseball clinic, but I want to find out more about wrestling. There is also a chance for him to do another basketball league.

Payton is doing a travel volleyball team, Ridgetop Volleyball. She had her tryout and is very excited to get started. Not going to lie, I am excited as well. I think she likes softball, but I think she gets excited about me being her coach (maybe she likes the quality time, who knows). Whenever I mention moving up to the next level, and her having a new coach, she gets mad and says she does not want to do it.

We found a picture of Lindsey from her basketball days back in elementary. The Doofus Gene is strong in this family.
