Decades Project: 2020s Music–Post Malone

I always thought Post Malone was a bit of a weirdo. I knew nothing of his music, and assumed he was part of that mumble rap genre that people were always complaining about. But then, a friend of mine posted something about seeing him in concert, and she is someone that has great taste in music. But I still never listened to his music. Then, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out, and Post Malone had the big song from the soundtrack. I liked the song, but that still did not get me to listen to any of his other stuff. Finally, last year, I heard “Chemical” and I was blown away that it was Post Malone. So I listened to more music. The dude is super talented, then this year he decides to come out with some country music. He can do it all. I respect that.

Now, some of these songs did not come out in the 2020s, but these are the songs I enjoy, and since this is my blog, and my history, I can do whatever I want…also, it feels like the 2020s belong to Post Malone.

Another one of my favorite things about him is that every Facebook article about him, which includes a picture, has like fifty comments from Boomers saying things like “who is this homeless guy?” or “he looks like a bum!” Cracks me up every single time.

Oh yeah, he shows up on Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and just about every song that is out nowadays. Dude definitely keeps busy.
