Happy Memorial Day!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day!  Like every year, I will be working.  I am not bitter about it this year.

Instead I want to take a second and thank all the people out there who serve this country.  Thank you!

I have many friends and family members who are either serving or have served in the military and I am grateful for everything they do.

My friend, John, posted this on Facebook the other day.  Sometimes I think many people truly do forget the whole point of this holiday and think of it as just an excuse to have a three day weekend and the beginning of summer.

So while you are out there cooking hamburgers, drinking beers, and having a good time, take a second to remember why you get to have this freedom.
