End of an Era

Logan had his preschool and daycare graduations the other day. It was fun seeing the pictures from the beginning of the year to now, and realizing how much he has grown. Not just physically, which he has, I mean, he is a small guy, but you can see that he has actually put on a few more inches. But he has also grown-up. At the beginning of the year, we felt like he was not even close to ready for kindergarten. Now though? He is like a different kid. He is going to do great in kindergarten next year.
This graduation also meant something else: the end of daycare. Payton started going to the daycare when she was a baby. Now, Logan finished his last day there. Insane, seven years of going there multiple times per week. Lugging a kid in a car seat up the steps. Making Logan walk faster when it is snowing or telling Payton to stop goofing around on the stairs. So much time spent at that place. The staff there have watched our kids go from babies to little people.
These kids are growing up, time continues it’s relentless march onward…
