House of the Dragon: The Red Sowing
I know what everyone wants to talk about…DRAGONS! But, we can get to those in a second. First we need to talk about the real star of this episode…
OSCAR MOTHERFUCKIN’ TULLY!

We met the kid a few episodes ago when Daemon tried to force him to rally his bannermen. Oscar informed him that his grandfather was still alive and that he could not do anything. Daemon said the boy should smother his grandfather. Oscar did not like that response. The River Lords did not like that Daemon gave the Blackwoods permission to rape, pillage, and plunder Bracken lands. And when Lord Grover Tully finally dies, Daemon summons them all to Harrenhal in order to bully Oscar into having the lords send their men to his cause.
But Oscar Tully was ready for Daemon. He points out to the River Lords that Daemon is a jerk, who none of them like, but that Rivermen honor their oaths, and that Grover Tully swore to Viserys that Rhaenyra would be the heir. He then condemns Willem Blackwood’s actions, and has Daemon mete out the punishment. Well done Oscar! We better see more of the lad.
Oh, and this episode saw some sweet dragon action. Ulf and Hugh got some dragons. A bunch of other people get cooked and eaten. I wonder if the show will change Hugh’s story a little bit? And I think I am 100% correct about how they are going to change the story with Rhaena replacing Nettles. It just makes sense that her coming to Daemon on a dragon will cause him to maybe try and bond with his kid. Especially since he is having these visions/nightmares that are pointing out how he has been a shitty person. Maybe being a dad to one of his daughters will help ease his conscience?
