2025 College Football Predictions: Independents

Two independent teams out there…why? Join a conference!

Notre Dame is quite talented, and I think they can repeat the success of last year. They have a tough schedule to start the year: Miami, Texas A&M, and Boise State by week five. If they can get through that first five weeks without a loss, or just one…they should be able to run the table from there. 

UConn found some success last year, and I think they could have another strong year. Their toughest games this year are Duke, Boston College, and Syracuse. And honestly, they can win one or two of those games. They have some good running backs returning, and should be able to win games on the ground, and controlling the clock. Jim Mora has built a nice program up there. Kudos to him.
